Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and meticulous individual to join our team as a Remote Data Entry Operator (Typist). This role involves the precise entry of medical billing information into specialized software, requiring a high level of accuracy and efficiency. As a Data Entry Operator, you will be responsible for compiling, verifying, and organizing information, identifying and rectifying any duplicate or incomplete information, and upholding data integrity by adhering to established best practices and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile, verify, and organize information in preparation for data entry
- Identify and rectify any duplicate or incomplete information before processing
- Uphold data integrity by adhering to established best practices and procedures
- Accurately input medical billing data into our systems
- Conduct research to gather any missing information as required
- Confirm membership details such as join dates and participation levels
- Maintain error-free data and implement necessary updates
- Follow established workflows and contribute to the enhancement of new procedures
- Diagnose issues and escalate them to team leaders or supervisors as necessary
- Achieve daily productivity targets while sustaining high-quality standards
Required Skills
- Proficient in using a PC and various information systems/applications
- Strong attention to detail and a professional demeanor
- Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency in data entry
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Willingness to work onsite for initial onboarding and training period of up to four weeks
