As a Remote Healthcare Data Entry Specialist, you'll be part of a talented team that's passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of patients and healthcare professionals alike. **Key Responsibilities** As a Remote Healthcare Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include: * Receiving and processing medical records and claims information from clients * Entering data into our systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail * Processing new cases, logging information, and moving it through to the next stage * Utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel to create and edit documents, as well as generating PDFs and inserting tables * Maintaining awareness of HIPAA regulations and ensuring the confidentiality and security of sensitive information * Collaborating with our team to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the data entry process **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications: * 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a data entry or administrative role * Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining confidentiality and security * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook * Experience with data entry, claims processing, and medical records management * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner **Preferred Qualifications** While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable: * Experience working with diagnosis codes, claims, and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) * Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and column insertion * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Experience working in a remote environment, with a strong ability to self-motivate and work independently **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and resolve conflicts * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of collaboration and teamwork * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At careerzynith, we're committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees.
