**Your Key Responsibilities**
As a Retail Customer Experience Associate, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth through:
* Providing personalized service to customers in all departments
* Selling merchandise and meeting customer needs in-store and through virtual selling
* Assisting customers and influencing sales by making product recommendations and leveraging digital resources
* Engaging and interacting with customers to acquire and grow client relationships
* Developing and maintaining relationships with peers and store leadership to problem-solve and create the best possible outcome for customers
* Using Point of Sale (POS) systems, client acquisition systems, and other store technology to drive sales and enhance the customer experience
* Partnering with store teams, vendors, and community partners to develop and host virtual and in-store events
* Maintaining selling floor presentation and ensuring fitting rooms are customer-ready
* Ensuring receipt of new merchandise, unpacking, and setting up new merchandise according to visual guidelines
* Reconfiguring store fixtures to prepare new layouts and visual presentations
* Performing store opening and closing procedures, including accessing alarm systems and settling registers
* Fostering an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities
**Essential Skills and Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Good product knowledge and the ability to give expert guidance to customers based on their wants, features, and choices
* Comfortable communicating with customers virtually, via phone, and in person
* Ability to build relationships with customers, achieve sales goals, and participate in pre-selling and sales-boosting events
* Utilization of point of sale technology and applications to help in selling and fulfilling customer orders
* Self-driven to keep up with product knowledge and trends and stay current with all training through arenaflex educational resources
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels and across departments
* Partnership with the total team to drive sales and deliver the customer experience
**Physical Requirements**
This role requires:
* Prolonged periods of standing/walking around the store or department
* Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register, and ability to process register transactions
* Reaching, including above eye level, crouching, kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, and color vision
* Lifting and moving items weighing up to 30 lbs.
