**Experienced Retail Customer Service Representative – Store Operations and Customer Experience**

We're seeking an experienced Retail Customer Service Representative to join our team at our Oceanside, NY store. As a key member of our store operations team, you'll play a vital role in delivering a fast and friendly checkout experience, helping customers shop and find what they're looking for, and ensuring our store is well-merchandised and in-stock. If you're passionate about customer service, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, we'd love to hear from you. **Key Responsibilities:** * Deliver exceptional customer service, helping customers shop, locate products, and find solutions to their needs * Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling to standards and ensuring accurate transactions * Engage customers on the benefits of our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and complete enrollments as needed * Educate customers on our Voice of Customer (VOC) survey and encourage feedback to help us improve our services * Assist with Omni-channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS), to ensure seamless customer experiences * Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes to maintain a well-merchandised and in-stock store * Responsible for completing merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return/go back process and general store recovery * Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned to ensure optimal inventory levels and visual merchandising * Support shrink and safety programs to prevent losses and ensure a safe working environment * Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements * Interact with colleagues in an accepting and respectful manner, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment **Preferred Qualifications:** * Retail and/or customer service experience, preferably in a creative or arts-related environment * Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production, with a passion for art and design * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues * Ability to remain standing for long periods, move throughout the store, and perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching * Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and early mornings **Work Environment:** * Our Oceanside, NY store is a public retail setting with climate-controlled areas, as well as some stock rooms and outdoor areas that may not be climate-controlled * You'll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences * Our Frame shop contains glass cutters and heat presses, and you'll be working in a creative and artistic environment **Compensation and Benefits:** * Total Base Pay Range for this position is $16.50 - $19.40 * arenaflex offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), paid time off, tuition assistance, generous employee discounts, and more * We prioritize the wellbeing of our teams and provide robust benefits for both full-time and part-time team members **How to Apply:** If you're passionate about customer service, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, we'd love to hear from you.
