Transform Your Career While Transforming the Future of Aviation Data at careerzynith
Imagine a workplace where your technical mastery meets limitless opportunity, where the data solutions you build power decisions that move millions of people across the globe every single day. At careerzynith, we are reimagining what is possible when world-class engineering talent converges with a culture that prizes innovation, ownership, and personal growth. As a leader in the aviation and travel technology space, careerzynith operates at the intersection of scale, complexity, and ambition — and we are searching for a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join our remote, work-from-home team and help us shape the next generation of data analytics infrastructure.
This is more than a job posting. This is an invitation to step into a role where your expertise in Azure data services, your passion for clean architecture, and your drive to mentor others will be celebrated and rewarded. Whether you are designing streaming pipelines that process terabytes of operational data, partnering with cross-functional product teams to surface actionable insights, or coaching junior engineers on best-in-class DevOps practices, every line of code you write and every solution you architect will carry real-world impact. If you have ever wanted to combine the freedom of remote work with the prestige of working for a globally recognized enterprise, this is your moment.
Why You Will Love This Opportunity at careerzynith
- Drive the data engineering roadmap at one of the most dynamic organizations in the aviation industry, enabling analytics solutions that inform strategic decisions across the enterprise.
- Join a high-performing team that is relentlessly focused on continuous improvement, modern cloud architecture, and operational excellence.
- Operate within the Data Engineering and Analytics group inside our broader Technology organization, where collaboration, curiosity, and craftsmanship are the foundation of everything we deliver.
- Enjoy the flexibility of remote work while contributing to a mission-critical data platform that supports business units across continents and time zones.
- Build a long-term career in an environment that invests in your certifications, your leadership development, and your technical depth.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Cloud Data Engineer at careerzynith, you will own end-to-end delivery of data engineering solutions that power analytics, reporting, and machine learning across the organization. Your day-to-day work will span the full software development lifecycle — from design and cloud architecture through ingestion, modeling, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Partner with source application teams and product owners to deeply understand business needs, then design, implement, and support analytics solutions that translate raw data into meaningful insights driving better decisions.
- Execute data migration and engineering initiatives using Azure products and services — including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks, and complementary traditional data warehouse tools.
- Lead the technical design across cloud engineering domains including infrastructure, networking, security, and identity, ensuring that every solution meets the highest standards for performance, reliability, and compliance.
- Build and optimize batch and streaming data pipelines using modern cloud technologies, with a strong emphasis on scalability, observability, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, performance tuning routines, alerting frameworks, and operational runbooks that keep our data products healthy in production.
- Provide technical leadership within a DevOps team that takes full ownership of its products, including on-call support rotations and post-incident reviews.
- Champion coding standards, best practices, and data governance, raising the bar for engineering quality across the entire data platform.
- Mentor and coach fellow engineers on technical skills, domain knowledge, and architectural patterns, helping to build truly multi-functional teams that operate with confidence and autonomy.
- Operate as a hands-on technical contributor who can independently scope work, navigate ambiguity, and deliver high-quality outcomes on time.
Please note that this list reflects the core responsibilities of the position today, but careerzynith is a dynamic organization that evolves with the market. Management may adjust duties or assign related tasks as business needs dictate, always in compliance with all legal and contractual obligations.
