**Job Summary**
As a Tier 1 Remote Customer Support Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with our clients' products and services. You'll provide top-notch support via phone, chat, and email, ensuring that customers receive timely and effective solutions to their queries. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping customers navigate our clients' complex products and services, and you'll play a critical role in building strong relationships with our clients and their customers.
**Responsibilities**
* Provide exceptional customer support via phone, chat, and email, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Utilize Zendesk and other ticketing systems to manage customer interactions and track issues
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to web and mobile applications
* Multitask in multiple browsers and browser tabs while handling customer communications
* Demonstrate a strong ability to walk customers through the process of navigating a mobile app/website and downloading/installing an application
* Possess a professional demeanor and a strong ability to show empathy
* Meet or exceed performance metrics, including first-call resolution, customer satisfaction, and average handling time
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve customer experiences
* Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on our clients' products and services
**Requirements**
* 1+ years of experience in Tier 1 customer support, preferably in a remote or work-from-home environment
* Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Mac, PC, iOS, Chromebook, Kindle Fire, and Android devices and applications
* Experience with Zendesk and other ticketing systems
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with customers and internal teams
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
* Professional demeanor and strong ability to show empathy
* Reliable internet speed and service
* Dedicated laptop or desktop computer with Windows 10 or above
* Quality headset
* Quiet workspace to take calls
* Willingness to install MSQ security software and 2FA app on the phone
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working with e-books and digital content
* Familiarity with social media platforms and online communities
* Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software
* Experience with project management tools and methodologies
* Certification in customer service or a related field
