As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, assisting with enrollment and updates to their health care or pension plans, and working remotely to provide excellent service via phone, chat, and message center.

**The Role**
As a Virtual/Remote Benefits Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
* Providing exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, and instant messaging
* Building rapport quickly and responding to plan participants with compassion and professionalism
* Customizing your service approach to accommodate various communication styles and maintain professionalism during challenging interactions
* Handling confidential information with utmost sensitivity and adhering to HIPAA and Data Privacy laws
* Maintaining accurate call and case notes in a professional manner
**What We're Looking For**
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a call center environment
* Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and organize work effectively
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple computer windows simultaneously
* Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute
* Comfortable working in a virtual environment within a 1-hour radius of Richardson, TX
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Associate or Bachelor's degree is a plus
* Familiarity with health, welfare, and/or defined benefit pension plans
* Previous experience in a call center environment
* Proficiency in Spanish (read, write, speak)
