Facility Assessors- Environment Compliance Assessments (ECA)

Description Position Summary: We are searching for facility assessors with experience conducting Environmental Compliance Assessments (ECA) to join our team! As a facility assessor, you will perform comprehensive evaluations of large, complex, and diverse facilities to determine compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations. This role requires expertise in identifying, documenting, and assessing environmental risks and compliance status across facility operations, including hazardous materials management, waste handling, air and water quality programs, and other regulated activities. You will apply your knowledge of environmental laws—such as the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, RCRA, and other relevant regulatory frameworks—to develop accurate findings and support corrective action planning. Requirements Required Qualifications • Demonstrated on-the-job experience performing environmental compliance or similar assessments. • Minimum of 3 years of experience performing facilities maintenance (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or plumbing), construction, or building inspections. • Familiarity with various types of data analysis and reporting. • Familiarity with federal & state environmental regulations (SPCC, CAA, CWA, etc…) • Good technical writing skills. • Excellent numerical and analytical aptitude. • Good communication and organization skills. • Ability to work independently and on an integrated project team. • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and integrated work management systems (IWMS). • Proficiency in using MS products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint). • 50-75% travel. Preferred Skills Or Experience • Experience with CMMS, such as Maximo, Maintenance Connection, or MaintainX. • Experience with IWMS, such as SAP, TRIRIGA, or FMS Workplace. • Active DHS BI Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or a related discipline and three to 10 years of experience. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered. The position requires the ability to pass Department of Homeland Security Public Trust Background Investigation (BI).
