About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
FieldTechnicalManagerto lead, strengthen, and continuously improve our quality assurance and quality control programs across Canada. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role responsible for establishing best practices, documenting standardized QA/QC processes, training teams, and ensuring consistent execution across all branches.
The ideal candidate combines
deep technical flooring expertisewith
strong people leadership and thrivesin both field and strategic environments. This role requires regular travel across Canada to support branches, oversee implementation, coach teams, and drive a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of company-wide installation processesEstablish best practices for industrial and commercial flooring systems and ensure consistent application across all branchesCreate, maintain, and continuously improve the crew's knowledge, standards, and technical guidelinesTrain, mentor, and support field teams, supervisors, and managers to ensure adherence to standardsConduct site visits, audits, and technical assessments across CanadaWork closely with operations, project managers, and field crews to proactively identify and resolve quality issuesAct as a technical authority for flooring systems, installations, and failure analysisFoster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work environmentDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, safety, and workmanshipSupport new products, systems, and technologies through evaluation, testing, and team trainingQualifications & Experience
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on field experiencein industrial and commercial flooringStrong technical knowledge of multiple flooring systems, including:Epoxy flooring systemsUrethane and polyaspartic systemsPolished concreteOther resinous and specialty flooring technologiesProven experienceleading, training, and developing teamsin the fieldDemonstrated ability to build strong relationships and create a positive work environmentSolid understanding of installation best practices, work orders, and process improvementComfortable working in both field and office environmentsStrong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skillsWillingness and ability to travel extensively across CanadaFrench language skills are an assetWhat We’re Looking For
