Position Overview
We are a high-performing criminal defense law firm seeking a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist to conduct structured behavioral evaluations for clients seeking restoration of firearm rights.
This is not a traditional therapy role. There is no ongoing treatment, no insurance billing, and no long-term patient management. The work is focused, objective, and evaluation-driven.
You will perform professional assessments, analyze behavioral risk factors, and produce clear, defensible written reports that support legal decision-making.
What You’ll Do
• Conduct structured behavioral and psychological evaluations (60–75 minutes per client)
• Assess risk factors, impulse control, behavioral stability, and overall suitability
• Review client history and supporting documentation
• Prepare concise, high-quality written reports for legal use
• Collaborate with attorneys to ensure evaluations align with case strategy
• Maintain consistent, objective, and professional documentation standards
