Role Description As a Founding Forward Deployed Scientist, Agentic Pharma R&D, you will be a full-time, remote team member working closely with biopharma partners to apply Quinn’s AI capabilities to real-world drug development problems. Your day-to-day work will involve translating scientific and commercial questions into structured problems, configuring and running AI-driven analyses, and synthesizing findings into clear, defensible recommendations. You will collaborate with stakeholders across R&D, clinical, and commercial functions to design workflows, refine models, and ensure outputs align with regulatory and scientific standards. The role includes building reusable solution patterns, documenting best practices, driving product feedback from the field, and contributing to internal technical and scientific knowledge. As a founding member, you will help shape operating norms for forward deployed work, mentor future hires, and influence Quinn’s roadmap for agentic pharma R&D. Qualifications • Strong foundation in life sciences or related fields (e.g., pharmacology, biology, chemistry, biostatistics) and experience working on drug discovery, clinical development, or commercial strategy. • Hands-on experience with data analysis and modeling, using tools such as Python, R, or similar, and comfort working with complex biomedical, clinical, or commercial datasets. • Ability to translate domain questions into structured analytical problems, design workflows, and interpret AI/ML outputs within scientific and regulatory contexts. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear reports, presentations, and narratives for technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Demonstrated success working directly with external clients or cross-functional partners, with strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills. • Comfort operating in an early-stage, fast-paced environment, with a proactive, experimental mindset and ability to work independently in a remote setting. • Advanced degree (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MD, or master’s) in a relevant scientific or quantitative discipline is highly beneficial; equivalent experience in pharma/biotech is also valued. • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, decision-support tools, or AI agents in R&D workflows is a plus, along with an interest in shaping the future of AI
