Our Group Fitness and Personal Trainer programs are designed to develop dynamic, skilled fitness professionals equipped to meet the evolving needs of the health and wellness industry. We are seeking knowledgeable and passionate professionals to join our Advisory Councils and contribute to the continued excellence and relevance of these programs. Position Overview We are seeking experienced professionals to serve as Advisory Council Members for our Group Fitness and Personal Trainer certificate programs. As an Advisory Council Member, you will provide valuable insights, guidance, and industry expertise to ensure our curriculum and learning outcomes remain aligned with professional standards, employer expectations, and emerging trends in the fitness industry. Key Responsibilities • Advise on curriculum development, certification alignment, and program enhancements. • Offer insights on industry trends, client expectations, certification standards, and fitness technology. • Participate in scheduled virtual meetings to provide feedback and strategic recommendations. • Collaborate with university leadership to support quality improvement initiatives and student success. Qualifications • Certification and/or degree in exercise science, kinesiology, personal training, group fitness, or a related field. • Recognized certification(s) from accredited bodies (e.g., ACE, NASM, NSCA, ISSA, ACSM) is strongly preferred. • Substantial professional experience in personal training, group fitness instruction, or fitness program management. • Familiarity with industry demands, certification standards, and workforce competencies. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • A passion for education, mentorship, and shaping the future of fitness professionals.
