**Healthcare Customer Service Expert - Remote Phone Intake**

Led by Dr. Gregg Jantz, a pioneer of whole-person care and best-selling author of over 45 books on mental health topics, arenaflex is a faith-based private agency providing unique whole-person care through Partial Hospitalization (PHP) Day Treatment Programs for Mental Health and Substance Use. **Responsibilities** As a Healthcare Customer Service Expert, you will be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service to patients, providers, and referral sources through phone calls, ensuring a positive experience and addressing any concerns or questions they may have. * Collecting clinical and demographic information from patients and entering it into our arenaflex portal, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. * Responding to complex requests and difficult callers with empathy and patience, demonstrating a strong understanding of arenaflex's services and policies. * Meeting/exceeding individual performance goals in the areas of Call Quality, Attendance, Adherence, and other Contact Center objectives. * Collaborating with the arenaflex team to ensure seamless communication and a high level of customer satisfaction. **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A High School Diploma or GED. * Minimum 2 years of Customer Service experience in a call center environment. * Minimum 1 year of experience working in the healthcare or medical industry with medical terminology. * Ability to navigate dual monitors and multiple applications. * Intermediate keyboarding abilities (at least 30 WPM, data entry while active listening). * Search Engine abilities (for example: use the mouse to click, troubleshooting, opening a browser, using a search engine, bookmarking a site, and navigating the use of back/forward buttons). * Basic PC skills working with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel Spreadsheets, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams to communicate and attend/schedule meetings. **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you will need to possess: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, providers, and referral sources. * Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately collect and enter clinical and demographic information. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm. * Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex requests and difficult callers. * Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team to achieve common goals. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** arenaflex is committed to the growth and development of its employees, offering: * Advancement opportunities, with the potential to move into leadership roles or specialized positions within the organization. * Professional skills training, to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as customer service, communication, and problem-solving. * Tuition reimbursement, to support your ongoing education and career development. * Opportunities for career growth and advancement, with a clear path for progression within the organization. **Work Environment and Company Culture** arenaflex is a dynamic and supportive work environment, with a strong sense of community and camaraderie among employees.
