Role Description
ACCIONA, through its Culture business unit, is seeking to hire a Scheduling and Project Controls Specialist in the United States for a cultural project.
Mission:
• To collaborate and provide support in the projects carried out by their business unit/department.
• Aim to improve decision-making processes and project execution.
• Responsible for the technical planning of the construction project.
• Understand and organize necessary construction procedures and production resources.
• Address uncertainties and external constraints.
• Determine the most suitable sequence for executing tasks and define project timelines.
• Analyze project activities by defining measurements, production resources, performance rates, and deadlines.
• Establish precedence relationships between various activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop project planning using P6 or MS Project, establishing the baseline for economic and progress work monitoring.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and forecasts, monitoring financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project changes to minimize their impact on the overall schedule.
• Analyze project data to identify variances, communicating corrective actions as necessary.
• Attend meetings to oversee and validate third-party schedules.
• Support the management team (or Project Manager) in tracking project timelines, cost estimates, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Analyze project performance metrics and provide actionable insights to management.
Qualifications
• Minimum 7 years of experience in similar roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, schedule, and financial modeling.
• Deep understanding of planning, financial principles, and budgeting processes.
• Experience with Primavera P6 or MS Project, ERP (Navision, Business Central).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence is valued.

• Base Pay: $88,000 – $110,000 (based on experience, education, and skillset).
