Role Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing statistical support to multiple discovery, development, and product defense in Veterinary Medicine Research and Development. Responsibilities include:
• Identifying and implementing innovative approaches for design and analysis of clinical and laboratory trials.
• Reviewing statistical literature for practical implementation in animal health R&D programs.
• Participating on project teams and serving as a liaison between Statistics and other departmental groups.
• Assisting in the training of scientists in experimental design and related topics.
• Actively participating in group meetings to ensure a common approach is taken to handling clinical and laboratory tasks.
Qualifications
• MS in Biostatistics/Statistics or related field with at least 3+ years of direct work experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• PhD in Biostatistics/Statistics, preferably with experience.
Requirements
• Knowledge of data handling and statistical analysis programming in PC-SAS.
• Knowledge of experimental design, mixed linear and non-linear model methodologies, and categorical data analysis.
• Excellent oral and written communication and statistical consulting skills.
• Ability to critically review scientific publications.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple simultaneous projects with significant attention to detail.
• Works well in a team environment.

• Ability to quickly learn domain knowledge to apply appropriate statistical approaches.
• Ability to work in ambiguous situations and influence others.

Benefits
• The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000 - $180,000.
• This position is also eligible for short-term incentive compensation.
