Role Description
Lead and develop a credentialing team, providing coaching, training, performance management, and timekeeping oversight for direct reports.
• Oversee provider credentialing, licensing, privileging, re-credentialing, and onboarding processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Manage operational workflows including application readiness review, credentialing file path assessment, worklist management, and credentialing software updates.
• Collaborate with internal leadership, local practices, providers, and external clients to ensure timely processing, communication, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Monitor team performance metrics, manage escalated issues, conduct audits, and identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred.
• 4–6 years of credentialing or healthcare operations experience.
• Certification such as Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) through the National Association of Medical Staff Services preferred.
• Experience with credentialing software and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to manage remote teams.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $65,000 – $75,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location, etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
