Role Description
As a Tele-ICU Nurse, you will provide remote patient monitoring and care for critically ill patients in intensive care units (ICUs) across the country. You will work closely with our team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in need.
• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and provide appropriate interventions as needed
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers via telecommunication technology
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Utilize critical thinking skills to make informed decisions and provide timely interventions
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records
• Stay up-to-date with current evidence-based practices and participate in ongoing education and training
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Qualifications
• Active RN license in the state of Illinois
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care or ICU nursing
• BSN degree or higher preferred
• Certification in critical care nursing (CCRN) preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in using technology and electronic medical records
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Must have a quiet and private workspace to provide remote patient care
