Key Responsibilities
- Work safely, quickly, and efficiently handling freight and inventory throughout the warehouse
- Ensure accurate processing, packing, loading, and shipping of freight
- Check merchandise to ensure that shipment is accurate and merchandise is not damaged
- Unload trailers by hand and with pallet jacks and other equipment as needed
- Assist in various receiving duties, including verifying shipments and processing returns
- Assist in other general warehouse duties on an as-needed basis, including maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Lift up to 70 lbs. frequently and stand, walk, lift, and load boxes for 8+ hours
- Demonstrate a team-oriented mindset and collaborate with colleagues to achieve warehouse goals
Essential Qualifications
To succeed as a General Warehouse Associate at Dollar Tree, you will need:
- At least 1 year of previous warehouse experience, preferably in a distribution center environment
- The ability to lift up to 70 lbs. frequently and stand, walk, lift, and load boxes for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accurate processing and shipping of freight
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and management
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn and adapt to changing warehouse priorities
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred:
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and/or other inventory management software
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and warehouse safety best practices
- Previous experience with pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals

Current Open Shifts:
- 2nd Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (three 12-hour shifts)
- 3rd Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM (four 10-hour shifts)
