Sendleaf is seeking an experienced immigration attorney to join our advisory board and provide expert guidance as we build AI-powered solutions for immigration law firms. About the Role
As an Immigration Attorney Advisor, you will provide expert legal guidance on immigration matters, support clients with visa applications, review legal documents, and ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations. You will collaborate with our internal teams and utilize Sendleaf's AI tools to optimize immigration case processing and client services.
Responsibilities:
• Provide expert guidance on immigration law and related legal issues
• Review and advise on client cases, visa applications, and USCIS filings
• Ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine Sendleaf's AI-powered solutions
• Provide insights to enhance the immigration professional's workflow
• Advocate for clients and support their immigration journeys
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar admission in good standing
• Thorough knowledge of immigration issues and strong expertise in visas
• Proficiency in immigration law and understanding of related legal issues
• Experience working on various aspects of immigration processes and client advocacy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience with immigration software tools or legal technology is a plus
This is a part-time, remote advisory position(4-5 hrs/month) with a 0.5-1% advisory equity with 2-year vesting. We are not able to provide a competitive salary at this point, but you will hold a founding role in our company. As an early advisor, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on Sendleaf's mission to empower immigration professionals with cutting-edge AI technology.
