About the Role: Inbound Expert
As an Inbound Expert at Target, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our stores are stocked, our guests are satisfied, and our operations run smoothly. This is a remote opportunity that requires a unique blend of customer service skills, operational efficiency, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities:
- Creating a Welcoming Experience: Greet guests authentically, understand their needs, and provide tailored support to enhance their shopping experience.
- Efficient Sorting and Stocking: Execute detailed, accurate, and efficient sorting operations, stock product on the sales floor, and maintain in-stocks for GM categories.
- Operational Excellence: Operate power equipment (if certified), manage defectives and environmentally sensitive items, and demonstrate a culture of safety and compliance.
- Guest Services: Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU), and Drive up (DU), maintaining a compliance culture while executing these duties.
- Adaptability and Teamwork: Work flexibly, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and collaborate with the team to achieve business priorities and sales goals.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
- Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
- Capacity to work both independently and with a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
- Accurate handling of cash register operations.
- Physical ability to climb ladders, scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous retail experience, especially in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and retail business operations.
- Experience with inventory management and process efficiency.
