Information Technology Governance Manager

Northwest Partners is looking for an IT Governance & Compliance Manager to support a banking client in managing enterprise IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) activities. This role will ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as FFIEC and SOX, oversee Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), support audit coordination, and manage the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining IT policies and procedures, developing governance reporting and dashboards, and partnering with IT, Security, and Compliance teams to strengthen internal controls and risk management processes. What You Will Do • Lead IT Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) activities across the organization • Manage regulatory compliance including FFIEC, SOX, and internal banking policies • Oversee Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), issue tracking, and control validation • Own and manage the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program • Coordinate internal and external audit activities and responses • Develop governance reporting, dashboards, and compliance metrics • Maintain and update IT policies, standards, and procedures • Conduct As-Is / To-Be process mapping and gap analysis • Partner with IT, Security, Audit, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment • Support continuous improvement of governance and risk frameworks • Supervise and guide a small team (1+ direct report) What You Will Bring • Strong experience in IT Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) in regulated environments • Background in banking or highly regulated industries preferred • Hands-on experience with FFIEC, SOX, audit, and regulatory frameworks • Experience managing Business Continuity Management (BCM) programs • Knowledge of RCSA, risk management, and control validation practices • Proficiency with GRC tools (e.g., RSA Archer, ServiceNow GRC) • Strong skills in Excel, Power BI, Visio, and SharePoint • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical controls and processes • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and small teams • Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills Disclaimer: All candidates will be asked to briefly show a government-issued ID on video during the first interview.
