Position Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is a revenue-generating sales professional responsible for driving profitable growth within TEVET’s Aerospace, Defense, and Government markets. The ISR owns assigned accounts and is expected to build and deepen strategic relationships with both customers and suppliers to increase opportunity flow, improve competitiveness, and strengthen long-term account value. This role owns assigned accounts, develops strategic relationships with customers and suppliers, , and executes disciplined pipeline management to achieve defined revenue and objectives.

The ISR is accountable for measurable outcomes, including quote-to-order conversion, responsiveness, account expansion, and customer satisfaction. Success requires initiative, urgency, sound judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.

A core expectation of this role is proactive outreach. The ISR routinely initiates phone-based customer and supplier engagement to discuss opportunities, uncover requirements, clarify specifications, validate fit, influence sourcing decisions, and drive quote follow-up. The ISR leverages these conversations to reduce friction in the buying process, strengthen trust, and directly improve conversion and win rates.

The ISR serves as a subject matter expert for assigned accounts and may coach and mentor other ISRs as directed by the Director of Sales Operations. The role also requires cross-training on additional accounts to ensure continuity of support and coverage.

As a key liaison between Sales, Quality, and Operations, the ISR ensures compliance with customer requirements, contractual obligations, and TEVET’s Quality Management System (QMS). The ISR proactively resolves issues, protects customer relationships, and safeguards revenue.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, exempt, salaried position with commission eligibility. The role is performance-driven and focused on achieving defined revenue, margin, customer engagement, and account management objectives. Work is generally conducted during standard business hours, but the ISR is expected to demonstrate the flexibility and responsiveness required to meet customer needs, support business priorities, and deliver results. Some travel may be required.

Physical Demands
