ROTH Capital Partners is a relationship-driven investment bank focused on serving growth companies and their investors. They are seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to assist in the execution of M&A and capital raising transactions for public and private companies, providing significant contributions to engagements with exposure to live deals.
Responsibilities
- Search, collect, consolidate, and interpret company and industry data
- Organize, review and analyze due diligence processes and materials
- Develop valuation analyses and models (projections, public comparables, precedent M&A transactions, LBO, DCF, etc.), including the use of proprietary financial models and databases to create charts, dashboards and supporting material
- Prepare comprehensive information packages, pitchbooks, information memoranda, management presentations, and marketing materials
- Provide administrative support to senior bankers as needed; and
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Skills
- Outstanding academic credentials with a Bachelor's Degree in related areas of study including Business, Finance, Economics and/or Accounting
- Excellent analytical skills and understanding of relevant financial and accounting principles
- Ability to express ideas effectively and fluently
- Comfortable with client interaction
- Ability to work effectively with minimal direction under tight deadlines and multiple priorities, while maintaining a keen attention to detail
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and similar software applications
- Fast learner, self-motivated, organized, and willing to work within a flexible, demanding, and fast paced environment
