The Opportunity
We're expanding our India cohort and looking for sharp investment banking associates in Bangalore to join as AI Residents. This is a chance to apply your bulge-bracket training to a problem that didn't exist a few years ago: teaching frontier AI to reason like a banker; through valuation, modelling, deal analysis, and the kind of judgment calls that define quality work in corporate finance.
What We're Looking For
4+ years of IB or Corporate Finance experience at a top international bank (bulge bracket, elite boutique, or top-tier global advisory).
Strong financial modelling and valuation skills in Excel.
Thorough understanding of financial statements, valuation, and financial modelling.
Skilled at extracting and interpreting data from filings, earnings materials, and investor presentations.
High attention to detail, with excellent summarisation and written communication skills.
Able to produce structured analytical outputs with clear explanations of methodology.
Project Info
Design and build financial analysis scenarios tailored to your area of expertise.
Create annotated financial models that demonstrate analytical logic.
Structure data extraction and analysis tasks from public company materials.
Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and professional quality.
Minimum 30+ hours per week.
Remote, asynchronous contract.
Contribute to a research initiative with a leading foundational AI lab; help enhance AI capabilities in corporate finance modelling.
Key Responsibilities
Design and review challenging finance scenarios and prompts to advance AI reasoning.
Build, adapt, and annotate financial models to highlight key logic and decision-making.
Review and validate assigned tasks with a high level of accuracy.
Maintain well-organised documentation and uphold internal standards.
