Summary
The Key Account Manager (KAM) – EMEAis responsible forbuilding,retaining, and expanding relationships withProFarm'shighest-value clients across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This remote, Europe-based role serves as the primary point of contact for major accounts, driving strategic growth while ensuring seamless cross-functional delivery of solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship ManagementAct as the primary, trusted point of contact for major clients, preventingchurnand proactively mitigating client escalations or complaints.
Strategic GrowthIdentify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling products and services that align with clients' long-termobjectives.
Cross-Functional CollaborationCoordinate with internal departments — marketing, product development,logistics, and finance — to ensure seamless delivery of solutions andtimelyfulfillment of client needs.
Sales & Revenue TrackingManage client budgets, negotiate contract terms, and oversee account profitability.
Data Analysis & ReportingTrack key performance indicators (KPIs) and use metrics to prepare regular progress reports and forecasts for clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Location:Based in Europe, with ability to work remotely and travel as needed across the EMEA region
- Experience:Minimum 8 years of experience in the agriculture industry, including at least 5 years as a large strategic/key account manager
- Education:Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Communication:Exceptional presentation, networking, and interpersonal skills
- Analytical Skills:Comfort interpreting data and using sales dashboards and reporting tools
- Negotiation:Demonstratedtrack recordof resolving complex problems and successfully negotiating contracts
