Role Overview:
The Email & SMS Marketing Specialist will manage all aspects of lifecycle marketing for our clients — including welcome flows, abandoned cart sequences, post-purchase flows, upsell campaigns, launches, and more. You’ll own both strategic planning and execution, using Klaviyo, Postscript, or similar tools.
You’ll collaborate with our paid ads team to align messaging across channels, boost funnel performance, and maximize LTV. You’ll also help build evergreen campaign calendars and high-converting automations designed to support conversion, retention, and customer ascension.
Key Responsibilities:
✦ Flow & Automation Setup
Build and optimize email flows: Welcome Series, Abandoned Cart, Browse Abandonment, Post-Purchase, Winback, VIP, etc.
Set up SMS automations that support conversion, urgency, and retention
Personalize messaging and logic based on segmentation, behaviors, and product interactions
✦ Campaign Execution
Write, design, and schedule regular email and SMS campaigns for product drops, promos, content, or launches
Develop email calendars that align with paid ad pushes, sales cycles, or seasonal offers
Use A/B testing to optimize subject lines, send times, CTA placement, and creative
✦ Strategy & Reporting
Audit existing email/SMS systems and recommend CRO-focused improvements
Analyze performance metrics (open rate, CTR, revenue per recipient, unsubscribes, etc.) and optimize accordingly
Collaborate with designers and copywriters to maintain brand tone and visual consistency
✦ Funnel & List Growth Support
Integrate email/SMS opt-ins into landing pages, Shopify popups, quiz funnels, and paid ads
Create lead capture sequences and magnet delivery automations
Segment lists for higher engagement and tailored customer journeys
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with Klaviyo, Postscript, Attentive, or similar platforms
Proven success managing eCommerce email flows and SMS automations
Strong copywriting skills with a direct-response, conversion-driven tone
Solid understanding of segmentation, A/B testing, deliverability, and funnel logic
Familiarity with DTC, eCommerce, or coaching/infoproduct brands
Bonus: experience supporting paid traffic funnels with follow-up email flows
Bonus Responsibilities (Optional, but Recommended):
Launch Support: Build high-converting campaign sequences for flash sales or evergreen offers
Offer Optimization: Help test upsells, bundles, or email-only discounts to increase AOV
Behavioral Logic Builds: Trigger specific emails based on page views, video watches, or ad clicks
