Apply today!Labor & Employment Attorney Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel to employers on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including wrongful termination, wage and hour issues, PAGA, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, workplace investigations etc.
• Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including state and federal court cases, arbitration, and mediation.
• Draft and review employment policies, employee handbooks, and employment agreements.
• Advise on compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
• Assist with labor relations, including union organizing, collective bargaining, and grievance handling.
• Conduct internal investigations related to employee complaints, harassment, and misconduct.
• Negotiate settlements and dispute resolutions on behalf of clients.
• Prepare and file motions, responses, and other legal documents related to employment litigation.
• Stay current on changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure clients’ compliance and provide proactive legal advice.
• Train and educate clients on legal best practices in the workplace, including employee management and compliance

Labor & Employment Attorney Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in labor and employment law, including experience in both advisory and litigation roles preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws and regulations.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload, from initial consultation through resolution.
• Experience representing clients in labor arbitrations, administrative hearings, and litigation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to provide clear, practical legal advice to clients on complex employment matters.
• Strong writing and research skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in CA.
