Provide Resume and some type of proof of License Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPC) and Licensed Social Workers (LSW) to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral services team. Duties • Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical terminology and HIPAA-compliant documentation practices. • Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing. • Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management plans that address behavioral health needs, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD care, Alzheimer’s care, and other specialized conditions. • Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems for accurate data collection, medical documentation, patient records management, and research purposes. • Provide specialized services including addiction counseling, pediatric mental health counseling, geriatrics care, special education support, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays. • Engage in clinical research activities related to behavioral health treatments or community care initiatives to advance best practices in the field. Qualifications • Valid licensure as an LCPC or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with appropriate state certification. • Proven experience in psychotherapy, mental health counseling, or social work within hospital settings or home & community care environments. • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of medical records. • Demonstrated expertise in working with children and families facing behavioral challenges or developmental disabilities; experience with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is highly desirable. • Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and addiction counseling. • Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and research data collection; experience with clinical research is a plus. • Excellent case management skills with the ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments accurately. • Ability to handle crisis situations effectively while maintaining professionalism under pressure. • Knowledge of medical records management and medical terminology relevant to mental health treatment; experience in intake procedures is preferred.
