Our client, a forward-thinking educational institution, is seeking a dynamic Lead Curriculum Developer for Online Education to join their instructional design team in Fort Worth, Texas, US . This role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing engaging and effective online learning experiences across various subject areas. You will lead a team of instructional designers and subject matter experts to create high-quality digital courses that meet rigorous academic standards and cater to diverse student populations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and experience with learning management systems (LMS). You will be responsible for overseeing the entire curriculum development lifecycle, from needs assessment and content creation to multimedia integration and assessment design. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential. This position requires excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. You will work closely with faculty, technical support, and marketing teams to ensure the successful delivery and continuous improvement of online programs. Experience with educational technology tools and a passion for innovative pedagogy are highly valued. Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of high-quality online courses and curriculum. Manage a team of instructional designers and subject matter experts. Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies. Oversee the creation of engaging digital content, including text, video, and interactive elements. Develop effective assessments and evaluation strategies for online courses. Ensure courses are aligned with learning objectives and academic standards. Manage projects from inception through implementation and revision. Collaborate with faculty to integrate technology and enhance teaching practices. Provide training and support to faculty on online pedagogy and technology. Evaluate and recommend educational technologies and tools. Stay current with best practices and trends in online education and instructional design. Qualifications: Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in curriculum development and instructional design, with a focus on online learning. Proven experience leading curriculum development projects and teams. Expertise in instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and learning theories. Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle). Experience with multimedia development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate). Strong project management and organizational skills.
