Senior Lead Developer / CTO - HubSpot, CRM Architecture, Sales Infrastructure
We are hiring a Senior Lead Developer / CTO-level operator to rebuild, own, and scale our full sales technology ecosystem.
This is not a basic tech support role. This is a senior systems leadership role for a fast-paced 200-person company with 100+ sales reps, 20+ funnels, and up to 700 sales calls per day.
PHASE 1: FIRST 4-6 WEEKS
Your first major project will be rebuilding HubSpot from scratch as we migrate away from Keap.
You will be responsible for:
Building HubSpot pipelines, workflows, automations, dashboards, and reporting
Migrating CRM logic, sales processes, and key data from Keap
Setting up lead routing, sales rep assignment, follow-up systems, and pipeline tracking
Connecting HubSpot with Zapier, OnceHub, payment systems, funnels, forms, and other tools
Designing the CRM to support 100+ sales reps and high-volume daily sales activity
Making sure the system is clean, scalable, fast, and reliable
PHASE 2: ONGOING ROLE
After the HubSpot rebuild, you will move into a full-time Lead Developer / CTO-style role.
You will be responsible for:
Managing and leading a team of 5 developers
Owning all sales technology, CRM systems, funnels, automations, and integrations
Supporting 100+ sales reps across a high-volume sales environment
Managing tech for 20+ active funnels
Troubleshooting critical issues quickly
Improving speed, reporting, tracking, automations, and conversion systems
Working directly with leadership to improve the full sales tech stack
REQUIREMENTS
5-10+ years experience in software development, CRM architecture, or systems engineering
Strong HubSpot experience is required
Strong Zapier, automation, API, and integration experience
Experience with Keap is a major plus
Experience with OnceHub / ScheduleOnce, payment processors, funnels, and sales tech is preferred
Must understand multi-step sales processes, lead routing, pipeline management, and sales operations
Must be able to lead developers, not just complete tasks
Must be fast, highly responsive, and comfortable under pressure
Must be able to solve problems without needing constant direction
Must have experience supporting high-volume sales or revenue operations environments
WORKING HOURS
Full-time role
Must work around 10 hours per day
Must be mostly aligned with EST time zone
Can start earlier if needed, but must overlap heavily with EST business hours
Must be available on weekends for urgent system issues or emergencies
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The right person is a hardcore builder and operator. You are not just a developer waiting for tickets. You can look at a messy sales system, understand the business model, rebuild the infrastructure, lead the team, and keep revenue operations running without excuses.
COMPENSATION
Compensation depends on experience and will be discussed during the interview.
