About the Role Our client, a premier provider of hospitality and event services in **Miami, Florida**, is looking for an experienced and dynamic Lead Sanitation Supervisor to oversee the hygiene and cleanliness of multiple high-profile venues. This role is critical in ensuring a pristine and safe environment for guests and staff at hotels, convention centers, and event spaces. Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, and schedule a team of cleaning and sanitation staff across various hospitality and event locations. Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive sanitation and hygiene protocols to meet industry standards and client expectations. Conduct regular inspections of all areas, ensuring high levels of cleanliness in public spaces, guest rooms, kitchens, and back-of-house operations. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and chemicals, ensuring cost-effectiveness and proper usage. Respond promptly and efficiently to any spills, emergencies, or specific cleaning requests. Collaborate with other department heads (e.g., F&B, Front Desk, Event Management) to coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure seamless operations. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Maintain detailed records of staff performance, cleaning schedules, supply usage, and incident reports. Implement and promote sustainable cleaning practices where applicable. Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to the sanitation team. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning, sanitation, or hospitality industry. Proven experience in developing and implementing cleaning and disinfection programs. Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices in hygiene management. Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by event schedules. Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds. High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in sanitation or hospitality management is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new management software. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between sites in **Miami, Florida**.
