Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Legal Operations Director to ensure every case manager consistently delivers required billing hours with high quality, predictable timelines, and zero operational chaos. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end case execution, monitoring daily progress, and identifying stalled files and underperforming staff. The ideal candidate is a disciplined high-performer who is tech-comfortable, deadline-sensitive, and can take full ownership of job responsibility.
What You Will Do
The Legal Operations Director will own end-to-end case execution, monitor daily progress, identify stalled files and underperforming staff, and reallocate workload dynamically to protect deadlines and utilization. They will also run weekly delivery reviews with attorneys and case managers, design and enforce KPIs, and standardize SOPs and workflows.

Requirements
- 5+ years in legal operations, professional service operations, or delivery management
- Proven ownership of KPI-driven teams (law firm, consulting, healthcare, or similar)
- Direct experience managing production staff (case managers, legal assistant, analysts, etc.)
- Strong data fluency: dashboards, metrics, operational reporting
- Experience implementing SOPs and performance systems
- Comfortable holding professionals accountable
