Licensed Therapist — Couples, LGBTQ+, and ADHD Specialty (Remote/Telehealth) Who We Are CLS Counseling & Consulting is a telehealth group practice licensed in Missouri and Illinois. We serve clients who are done pretending they're fine — couples navigating real stress, LGBTQ+ individuals working through identity and relationships, and people with ADHD who've been told to just try harder their whole lives. Our approach is direct, affirming, and evidence-based. We don't do surface-level. Neither do our clinicians. We're growing with intention, and we're looking for a therapist who is too. The Role This is a 1099 independent contractor position for a fully licensed therapist ready to build a caseload in couples, LGBTQ+, and/or ADHD work — with strong administrative backing so you can focus on clients. We handle billing, insurance, credentialing, marketing, and operations. You handle the clinical work. Accepted licenses: LPC, LCPC, LCSW (fully licensed, no supervision required) Location: Remote — must be licensed in MO and/or IL Compensation Pay is a percentage of collections, calculated every 14 days and deposited every other Friday. • 60% — 4–29 sessions per pay period • 70% — 30–49 sessions per pay period • 80% — 50+ sessions per pay period Applies to private pay, insurance reimbursement, and collected late cancel/no-show fees. No taxes withheld. Contractors receive a 1099-NEC. Minimum activity: 8 completed sessions per calendar month to remain active in the referral and billing infrastructure. What We Provide • Steady client referrals matched to your niche • Full billing and insurance management • HIPAA-compliant EHR and telehealth platform • Insurance credentialing support (typically 60–90+ days) • AI-assisted documentation tools • Clinical templates, forms, and resources • Optional peer consultation and collaboration This Is a Strong Fit If You: • Hold fully independent licensure (LPC, LCPC, or LCSW) in MO and/or IL — no supervision requirements • Specialize in couples, LGBTQ+ affirming care, and/or ADHD • Practice from an affirming, evidence-based, action-oriented framework • Work well independently in a virtual setting • Want a real caseload without running a solo practice alone Qualifications • Active, unrestricted licensure in MO and/or IL (LPC, LCPC, or LCSW) • No supervision requirements, license restrictions, or disciplinary conditions • Telehealth experience • Reliable internet and personal equipment for virtual sessions • Ability to complete clinical documentation meeting payer and licensure standards • Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain prior to start) Preferred: • Experience with insurance-based billing and managed care • Familiarity with SimplePractice or comparable EHR • Specialty experience in couples work, LGBTQ+ affirming care, and/or ADHD To Apply Email your resume and a brief note to [email protected].
