Job Summary: THE JOB We are seeking a Sr. Accountant II for the Live Nation Concerts division, a segment of the Live Nation live music business. Position is a blend of transactional and intermediate to advanced level Accounting. This person must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to multitask and strong knowledge of basic accounting. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO • Perform month-end close tasks including preparation of general ledger entries and analysis as assigned. • Review period close submissions and assist in month/quarter end reporting package consolidation • Perform detail reviews of regional and/or divisional balance sheets and bank reconciliations ensuring timely completion and documentation of issues identified and resolved. • Complete divisional balance sheet schedules and account reconciliations as assigned by management. • Reconcile General Ledger accounts and research to ensure accuracy. • Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures / policies, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. • Maintain, control and reconcile accounts that are moderate to very complex in nature. • Assist divisional management team in completing corporate or executive management ad hoc requests. • Assist with special projects as assigned.
