Gold Star Mortgage Financial Group is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant who will be organized with a strong attention to detail. The role involves assisting the Loan Officer with administrative tasks, obtaining loan documentation, and completing training to transition to a Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer.
Responsibilities
- Assist Loan Officer in general administrative and clerical duties
- Obtain loan documentation once loan application is received and ensure all documentation is completed accurately for Loan Officer to proceed to the next phase of processing
- Schedule appointments, calls, etc. for the Loan Officer and clients
- Assist with branch marketing efforts to generate leads
- Complete MLO training courses and exam
- Complete other duties as assigned
Skills
- Must have exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Must be dependable with meeting deadlines and managing time
- Have an ability to work independently on multiple files simultaneously
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills
- High school diploma

- During the first 6 months of employment, the LOA will train to become a Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer, taking courses and the exam to transition to a MLO role.
