Manufacturing Engineer, Electronic Warfare

Description: • Own part or all of the manufacturing value chain for assembly, integration, and test of electromechanical assemblies. • Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen events. • Partner with Product Quality Engineering to support RCCA burndowns for key internal and external production issues. • Collaborate with Design Engineering during early and late development phases to support DFx and smooth NPI transitions. • Develop process flows that break complex assemblies into logical subassembly and subprocess steps. • Write manufacturing documentation such as work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements. • Work with contract manufacturers across PCBA, metallic manufacturing, assembly, and related disciplines to establish repeatable processes for development and production. • Build prototype hardware hands-on with technicians and other engineers. • Contribute to mechanical and electrical design considerations, including interconnects, board fabrication, and inspection. Requirements: • Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science is preferred. • 5+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or electromechanical hardware design. • Demonstrated ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environment. • Personal hands-on experience physically manufacturing hardware, such as machining, fabrication, soldering, or assembly. • Experience with JIRA, Siemens NX, Teamcenter (PLM), Oracle (ERP), or equivalent tools. • Strong interest in manufacturing and a willingness to learn. • Must be a U.S. Person due to access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities. • Experience with RF products requiring assembly, integration, and test is preferred. • Exposure to scaling product testing and production is preferred. • Hands-on experience with software or firmware flashing, end-of-line testing, or troubleshooting is preferred. • Software scripting experience in any language is preferred. • Current active U.S. Secret security clearance is preferred.
