Lead payer partnerships. Drive outcomes. The Role Mae is hiring a Market Lead and Analyst, Payer Partnerships, to own and grow relationships with Medicaid health plans. This is a high-ownership role responsible for managing payer performance, driving renewals, and expanding partnerships. You will work across teams to ensure our programs deliver measurable value to our partners. You will report to the VP of Payer Partnerships / Growth. What You'll Own Payer Relationship Management • Own relationships with Medicaid health plans (MCOs) • Serve as the primary point of contact for payer partners • Build trust with stakeholders and maintain strong engagement Revenue & Growth • Own renewals, contract performance, and account expansion • Identify opportunities to increase value and revenue across accounts • Proactively manage risks that could impact retention Performance & Execution • Track and manage payer performance across key metrics • Translate data into insights and actionable recommendations • Ensure programs deliver measurable outcomes aligned to contracts Cross-Functional Leadership • Partner with product, operations, and clinical teams to improve performance • Identify gaps in workflows and build scalable solutions • Drive alignment across internal teams to support payer success What Success Looks Like This role is accountable for both relationship strength and business outcomes. • Strong payer relationships with consistent engagement and trust • High renewal rates and expansion of existing accounts • Clear articulation of ROI and value to payer partners • Measurable improvements in program performance and outcomes • Proactive identification and resolution of risks Experience We're Looking For • Direct experience working with Medicaid health plans (MCOs) • Experience managing payer relationships, accounts, or partnerships • Ownership of renewals, revenue targets, or account growth • Strong understanding of healthcare programs, population health, or value-based care • Experience working cross-functionally with operations, product, or clinical teams • Experience presenting to senior stakeholders (Director level and above) What Makes Someone Successful at Mae You are: • A system thinker who connects relationships, data, and outcomes • Comfortable being accountable for revenue and performance, not just activity • Able to balance mission-driven work with business results • Highly organized and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously • Comfortable operating in startup environments with ambiguity • A strong communicator who can influence across all levels Preferred • Experience in maternal health, women's health, or digital health • Experience working in startup or high-growth environments • Familiarity with Medicaid regulations, waivers, or state programs Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
