Summary
Go Energistics is seeking a strategically minded Manager of Proposals & Marketing Coordination to lead pursuit strategy, oversee Requests for Proposals (RFPs)/Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), and strengthen key partner relationships. This role serves as a central coordinator across internal teams and external collaborators, ensuring each opportunity is appropriately resourced, aligned, and positioned for success.
Blending leadership with hands-on execution, the Manager will drive proposal development while establishing structure, consistency, and accountability within a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This individual will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, competitive submissions while developing the systems, processes, and team capacity needed to support ongoing marketing and business development efforts.
Duties / Responsibilities
Proposal Management
• Actively manage and oversee the end-to-end development of Requests for Information (RFIs), RFPs/RFQs, and other bid/solicitation documents, including market research, template management, proposal scheduling, technical writing, content development, team input coordination, document editing, graphic design, and final production.
• Owns the overall proposal process to include draft color reviews (i.e. pink, red and gold team reviews)
• Monitor opportunity databases and online portals for upcoming opportunities (i.e. GovWin, SAM.gov, GSA)
• Manage file sharing and structure on the company’s SharePoint
• Develops and manages pursuit schedules
• Develops and manages opportunity forecast
• Manages compliance matrices and adherence to evaluation criteria
• Manages resources in the areas of writing, editing, illustrating, desktop publishing, technical editing, quality control and print reproduction
• Reviews draft and final versions of responses for responsiveness to requirements, thoroughness, accuracy, staffing, financial considerations, quality and effective design and layout
• Compiles proposal and/or win/loss debrief, and lessons learned and manages team reviews
Marketing Support
• Partner with the Director to prepare company-wide qualifications and marketing collateral materials in compliance with company writing and branding standards and in alignment with strategic plan.
• Draft & deliver marketing communications for internal and external audiences
• Collaborate, create, and/or update content and execution of marketing campaigns
• Maintain corporate website
• Partner with the Director to support additional marketing activities, including tradeshows, conferences and partner meetings
• Monitor & support social media platforms for engagement, including posting and social media schedule
• Manage and monitor company intranet
• Conduct or assist with market research (project, competitive, marketing, trends, etc.)
Required Skills / Abilities
• Excellent problem solving, time management, organizational and project management skills
• Proficiency in proposal management methodologies, technologies and best practices
• Experience managing large, complex proposals, including coordinating, leading and managing the pursuit process
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines with diplomacy
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams
• Ability to develop protocols, processes and systems and contribute to improving the efficiency of the business and team
• Ability to compose documents onscreen and to communicate graphically
• Understanding of graphic design and document layout principles
• Must be proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint), Adobe InDesign and Acrobat Pro
Education And Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Communications or Related (10+ years’ experience in lieu of education may be considered)
• 7+ Years of Proposal Management Experience, government/federal and/or A/E/C (or similar field) a plus,
• Background in Healthcare services, Government/Federal Healthcare experience highly preferred
• Experience producing proposals within the A/E/C industry or for outfitting or activation highly preferred
Travel Requirements
• Travel required only when requested. Under 20%.

• No direct supervision of others.
• Ability and desire to serve as a mentor
• Demonstrated leadership experience in leading, mentoring and engaging a diverse team of marketing, communications, and graphic design professionals
