Scope of Position
We are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Master Data Manager for our multi-year ERP implementation. This individual will be responsible for establishing master data integrity and a solid governance framework. The mission of this highly visible role is to define and implement master data strategies, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
This position is responsible for supervising the Data Analyst Team
This position reports to VP & General Manager, Fluid Solutions. This role is remote based.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the Master Data workstream in the ERP Program to ensure project milestones and goals are met
Lead the MDM team to support all aspects of an ERP implementation life cycle from requirements gathering, design, build, testing to deployment as well as data migration
Lead a cross-functional team to clean up master data from the legacy system prior to data migration
Collaborate with strategic business groups and IT to identify opportunities for business process improvement and assist in the implementation
Envision, align, and lead cross-functionally all aspects of data policy deployment and related business processes
Design and implement master data governance framework
Provide master data management (MDM) internal consulting as a subject-matter expert (SME) in support of business and IT initiatives to improve master data management
Manage onshore/offshore resources as well as external contractors and consultants
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering or related field
12+ years of experience with data governance, data quality and data management
8+ years of project management experience working closely with both business and IT resources
5+ years of experience acting as a SME on MDM implementations preferably in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated experience in leading Master Data for a major ERP implementation
Strong understanding of a manufacturing environment and direct relationship to Master Data
Demonstrated experience developing business requirements and business cases for MDM systems and ability to distill complex business requirements, and then effectively communicate those to technical resources
Expert knowledge of end-to-end processes for collecting and maintaining master data across the enterprise and then distributing data to business partners or systems
Ability to rationalize existing vocabularies to help break down silos and establish a common business vocabulary.
Ability to partner and influence business & IT stakeholders at various organizational levels
Solid change management skills
Ability to understand organizational data requirements and define, clearly articulate, and drive plan to provide accurate master data that meets a manufacturing firm’s objectives
Ability to identify the root cause of data quality issues and lead teams of technical and business resources to resolve
Solid business acumen and ERP knowledge with manufacturing experience
Excellent problem-solving skills with strong track record of producing analytic insight that has led to significant data quality improvements
Multidomain (Customer, Vendor, Product, etc) MDM experience
Very strong oral and written communications skills

Working Conditions
While performing the job duties, you will be working remotely in an office environment. You may be required to occasionally travel to and work in the offices at our manufacturing locations for meetings, trainings, or as otherwise required by Company management.

Pay Range
The expected salary range for this position is $133,000 - $158,000 yearly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable law.
