• Support coordination efforts by identifying and resolving clashes using Navisworks, working collaboratively to mitigate conflicts before construction.
• Produce accurate, detailed, and constructible shop drawings for use by field installation teams.
• Ensure project drawings follow the appropriate schedule and reflect the latest updated specifications and design changes.
• Work closely with the field team to support installation processes, clarifying model details and responding to questions as needed.
• Collaborate with BIM Coordinators and other designers to continuously improve modeling standards and workflows.
• Contribute to the development of assemblies and standardized content to enhance efficiency across projects.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and progress toward taking on broader BIM coordination responsibilities over time.

• Proficiency in Revit, gained through professional experience or formal education.
• Experience creating and maintaining BIM models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to perform MEP drafting and modeling within Revit MEP or similar tools.
• Familiarity with construction documents and the ability to interpret and translate them into accurate models and shop drawings.
• Experience with drawing annotation, including adding notes, dimensions, and other details to shop drawings.
• Understanding of HVAC design, plumbing, and electrical systems in a construction context.
• Experience using Navisworks to support clash detection and coordination.
• Capability to work in a construction and design environment, collaborating with designers, coordinators, and field teams.
• Openness to learning and developing toward a BIM Coordinator role.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience specifically in MEP Revit modeling is highly desirable.
• Background in HVAC design, hydronics, plumbing, or electrical design is beneficial.
• Prior experience in a BIM Technician or BIM Coordinator role is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality models and drawings.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with office and field personnel.
• Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and technology tools.
• Interest in long-term career growth within BIM coordination and design.
• Eligibility for performance-based bonuses tied to company results.
• Access to a company-provided phone and laptop to support daily responsibilities.
Work Environment
You work primarily in an office-based environment with your own dedicated cubicle within a cluster of BIM team workstations. The BIM team consists of approximately eight members, including hydronics, HVAC, and plumbing designers, as well as other BIM professionals, with some team members working remotely. You collaborate closely with this group in a setting that supports communication and shared problem-solving. The company offers a flexible approach to work hours, with most team members starting between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. and working an eight-hour day.
