We are currently seeking applicants for a Mortgage Loan Post Closer-Agency Shipper. Expectations: • Review/audit closed loan files for accuracy and completeness, utilizing post-closing resources. • Audit files and provide approval for internal funding authorization. • Stack and deliver loans listed on loan sale, ship to required investors using their template prior to the lock expiration date. • Complete delivery to assigned investor according to post-closing instructions. • Follow up on missing items in a timely manner. • Performs other duties as assigned. Required Education, Experience & Skills: • High school diploma or GED • One year of banking experience, including loan processing or loan operations and customer service, strongly desired • Dedication to delivering excellent customer experiences. • Professionalism in conduct, communication, and appearance • Communication and sound judgment; strong decision-making skills • Positive attitude; team-oriented • Strong interpersonal skills; outgoing and friendly personality • Accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills; time management skills • Knowledge of banking regulations • Basic keyboarding skills and the ability to navigate in a Windows environment. Preferred Experience & Skills: • Bank’s secondary market policies and procedures • Other bank policies and procedures as they apply to the secondary market lending function. • Loan platforms utilized by the secondary market department. • Federal regulations concerning secondary market mortgage lending. • Investors’ guidelines • Work well independently as well as within a team environment. • Work well under pressure to consistently meet stated deadlines. • Organize activities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Quickly adapt to new procedures and processes as loan regulations change. Hours: • Primarily, Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30 • Possible overtime and weekends This position reports to the Mortgage Post Closing Manager.
