roject Overview:
We are a premium LED lighting company focused on luxury fine art applications (galleries, collectors, high-end interiors). Our CGI artist is currently in the rendering phase, producing high-quality final scenes.
We now need a skilled motion designer / video editor to take these rendered assets and craft a visually compelling above-the-fold hero animation for our website.
This role is strictly post-production focused—sequencing, pacing, and refinement. Not 3D work.
---
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Sequence pre-rendered CGI clips into a cohesive, high-end visual story
- Create strong pacing and flow for a short-form hero animation (approx. 6–12 seconds, loopable)
- Add subtle transitions, timing adjustments, and polish
- Ensure the animation feels luxury, minimal, and refined
- Optimize for web (fast load, smooth loop, attention-grabbing in first 2–3 seconds)
- (Optional) Add minimal text overlays or motion accents if appropriate
---
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong portfolio in motion design and/or high-end video editing
- Experience with website hero animations, product visuals, or brand films
- A strong sense of timing, rhythm, and visual storytelling
- Ability to execute a premium, Apple-level aesthetic (clean, minimal, intentional)
- Experience working with CGI / rendered footage is a plus
---
Style References (Important):
We are aiming for a look and feel similar to:
- Apple product pages
- High-end architecture / interior design studios
- Luxury product cinematics
Think: slow, intentional, elegant—not flashy or over-animated
---
Assets Provided:
- High-quality rendered CGI clips (delivered from our 3D artist)
- Brand direction and creative guidance
- Reference examples for tone and pacing
---
Deliverables:
- Final hero animation (web-optimized)
- Seamless loop version
- Source file (After Effects or similar)
- Optional alternate cuts (if needed for testing)
---
To Apply, Please Include:
1. Relevant portfolio examples (especially luxury, product, or web animations)
2. A short note on how you approach pacing and storytelling for short-form loops
3. Your preferred tools (After Effects, Premiere, etc.)
---
Bonus (Not Required):
- Experience working with luxury brands, galleries, or design firms
- Understanding of UI/UX or conversion-focused animation
---
Goal:
Create a visually striking, premium hero animation that immediately communicates quality, precision, and elegance—something that makes visitors stop and feel the brand within seconds.
---
We’re looking for someone who understands that subtlety, restraint, and timing are what make luxury feel expensive.
