National Account Manager, Natural & Specialty

Founded in 2022, Create Wellness is redefining creatine for the modern consumer — starting with a first-of-its-kind creatine gummy and scaling rapidly into a high-growth, profitable business across eCommerce and retail. Creatine is not a niche bodybuilding supplement; it's a foundational wellness product, and Create is building to own the category. Reporting into the SVP of Retail Sales, you will partner closely with senior leadership, brokers, and cross-functional teams across marketing, operations, and planning. This is a high-impact, highly visible role with direct ownership of some of Create’s most important retail relationships. This role is for someone who: • Thinks like an owner and operates like a quarterback — fully accountable for their accounts end-to-end • Builds real relationships with buyers and earns their trust over time • Is equally comfortable in a line review and a broker performance conversation • Turns distribution into velocity and data into action • Wants to grow with a brand that’s moving fast and winning What You'll Do Retail Relationship Ownership • Serve as the primary point of contact for Sprouts, GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, and Wegmans • Build strong, trusted relationships with buyers and key stakeholders • Expand into additional accounts and channels over time Business Performance & Growth • Own the full P&L across your accounts • Drive revenue, distribution, and velocity through thoughtful planning and execution • Lead line reviews, resets, and promotional strategies that deliver results Broker Management • Manage broker partners as an extension of your team • Set clear expectations, ensure accountability, and drive execution at shelf Trade Spend & Promotional Strategy • Plan, allocate, and optimize trade spend • Evaluate ROI and continuously refine promotional strategies to improve performance Forecasting & Cross-Functional Alignment • Own account-level forecasting and partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment with supply chain and inventory planning • Partner closely with Marketing, Operations, and Planning to bring retailer-specific programs to life Analytics & Storytelling • Use data to understand performance and identify opportunities • Translate insights into clear, compelling narratives that influence buyers and internal stakeholders • 4+ years of experience in CPG sales or retail account management • Experience working with Natural or Specialty retailers (Sprouts, GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, Wegmans, Whole Foods, etc.) • Strong commercial instincts with the ability to manage a business end-to-end • Comfortable owning relationships and representing the brand directly with buyers • Analytical thinker who can turn data into action • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through Nice to Have • Existing relationships with key buyers in Natural or Specialty • Experience in supplements, wellness, beauty, or food & bev CPG • Broker management experience • Familiarity with KeHE and UNFI • Experience in a high-growth or emerging brand environment • Competitive compensation and equity • Fully-paid health, dental, and vision insurance • 401K program • Remote, with regular travel expected
