Network & Telecom Technical Lead Job Type: Full-Time | Location: Remote (Occasional Travel as Needed) Optomi, in partnership with a leading healthcare organization, is seeking a Network & Telecom Technical Lead to oversee enterprise-wide voice and data network operations across a rapidly growing distributed environment. This is a highly visible, senior-level infrastructure role responsible for ownership of network connectivity, telecom operations, vendor management, and overall network reliability across hundreds of locations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on network leader with strong experience in CATO Networks, VoIP systems, wireless and switching infrastructure, and ISP/vendor management. Experience of the Right Candidate: • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise networking and telecom environments. • Strong hands-on experience with CATO Networks and SASE-based networking platforms. • Experience managing firewalls, switches, wireless infrastructure, and VoIP systems. • Strong understanding of LAN/WAN networking, ISP management, and distributed site connectivity. • Experience supporting and troubleshooting Voice Over IP environments such as RingCentral. • Ability to manage vendors, ISPs, and service providers while driving accountability and performance. • Experience working within fast-paced, highly operational environments. • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and escalation management skills. • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or Cato Certified Professional are a plus. Responsibilities of the Right Candidate: • Own and support enterprise network and telecom operations across distributed clinic environments. • Manage and maintain CATO firewall and SASE networking infrastructure. • Oversee switching and wireless deployments across all locations. • Support and optimize VoIP and telecom platforms including provider coordination and troubleshooting. • Manage relationships with ISPs, aggregators, MSPs, and telecom vendors. • Coordinate network deployments, escalations, outages, and service restoration efforts. • Monitor network performance, availability, and security compliance across the environment. • Develop operational standards, documentation, and network support processes. • Drive vendor accountability through performance management and service reviews. • Partner with internal IT leadership and external providers to support ongoing infrastructure growth and modernization initiatives.
