Duties • Provide strategic oversight and governance to ensure the foundation’s goals align with its mission and values • Assist in developing and refining long-term strategic plans that promote sustainable growth and community impact • Support fundraising efforts by leveraging your network, participating in grant proposal writing, and advocating for the foundation’s initiatives • Foster relationships with donors, partners, and community stakeholders through relationship management and public relations activities • Contribute to research efforts to identify new opportunities, best practices, and innovative approaches for program development • Oversee the management of databases and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software such as Raiser's Edge to track donor engagement and fundraising progress • Participate in committee meetings, board training sessions, and special events to promote awareness and engagement Qualifications • Proven experience with databases, CRM software, or fundraising platforms such as Raiser's Edge or similar tools • Strong background in marketing, public relations, or strategic planning with a passion for community service • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to build trust among diverse stakeholders • Demonstrated experience in grant proposal writing, research, or fundraising campaigns • Knowledge of nonprofit operations, including customer service principles and compliance standards • Ability to commit time for regular board meetings, committee participation, and special events • A genuine passion for advancing social causes through strategic leadership and collaborative efforts Join us as a Non-Profit Foundation Board Member—where your dedication fuels positive change!
