• *Who is Freedom In Education (FIE): • *Promoting freedom in education by equipping parents & teachers FIE endeavors to find, create, and promote solutions to the most pressing and destructive issues facing education in America today. Freedom in Education is committed to restoring parental rights, high-quality education, and civic virtue to our public schools by enhancing and improving content transparency, curriculum quality, learning options, and equipping parents to act. • *We are hiring a select number of interns for the following roles: • Media/Communications & Social Media – Branding, influencer engagement, social content, media relations • Graphic Design – Visual content creation, multimedia design, digital and print graphics • Press Releases, Articles & Blogs – Writing, editing, content creation for blogs, articles, and publications • Outreach & Engagement – Community engagement, partnership development, event coordination • Legislative & Policy Analysis – Researching policy trends, drafting briefs, supporting advocacy efforts • Research, Data & AI** – Market research, programmatic research, data analysis, AI and computational projects If you feel your skill set and experience aligns with any of the above, please send in your resume and indicate which areas you’d like to be considered for. • *Skills Needed: • Commitment to nonprofits and the mission of the FIE • Technical skills in Word, Excel, etc. • Good organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail • Self-discipline and time-management skills needed to work independently • Dependable and punctual team player • Research Skills • Good verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work with the public in a professional manner • Moderate experience working with social-media platforms • *The internship: Our Summer 2026 internship gives two options of running for one semester from June 1, 2026 to August 2026, or an extension until December of 2026 and will teach you the many aspects of nonprofit management and help you make a difference in the lives of students, teachers and families. *Please note: we will be giving preferential treatment to candidates interested in potentially committing to two semesters but candidates only looking for the Summer will also be considered. • We are looking for interns who can commit anywhere a minimum of 15-20 hours per week, with the possibility for more. • Schedule is flexible. • This internship does not provide a stipend, but has the potential for academic credit. • *Application period is open until April 20th.** To apply for this internship please submit your application on Indeed or contact Media Director and Intern Supervisor, Sabrina Caserta at [email protected] Job Type: Part-time Pay: $1.00 per year Benefits • Flexible schedule Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
