Occupational Medicine Physician
Cape Fox subsidiary Eagle Health, LLC is accepting resumes for an Occupational Medicine physician to support the NIH Occupational Medical Service based in Bethesda, MD. The physician will work onsite at the NIH office in Bethesda and also provide telemedicine support in Baltimore, MD, Fort Detrick, MD, Phoenix, AZ, Research Triangle Park, NC and Hamilton, MT.
The Occupational Medical Service Physician will provide guidance and support to OMS nursing and advanced practice staff as well as direct patient care to NIH's employee population. The physician will have direct input into medically related SOPs, provide physician-level review and signature when needed and interact with key stakeholders in the NIH community to respond to medical questions pertaining to patient care and surveillance programs. The physician will also provide support for medical reviews involving disability retirement, reasonable accommodations and FMLA cases.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Board Certification in Occupational Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or other Acute Care Specialty.
• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine with an unencumbered US state license to practice medicine.
• Licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners in the State where the Physician practices. This license can be from any one of the 50 US states or territories.
• Two years of postgraduate clinical experience as a Physician in Occupational Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine.
• Certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
