Online Novel Reading Camp Teacher Position Overview We are hiring experienced Online Novel Reading Camp Teachers for a summer 2026 English reading program for elementary students. Teachers will guide students through age-appropriate English novels, lead discussions, support reading comprehension, and help students build confidence and interest in reading. Program Dates Start date: June 30, 2026, or during the first two weeks of July 2026 Minimum commitment: 1 full month from the start date Schedule • Classes run Monday to Saturday • Teachers must keep the same daily teaching time throughout the program • Peak teaching hours, Beijing Time: ◦ 7:30 AM ‒ 10:30 AM ◦ 10:00 AM ‒ 1:00 PM ◦ 5:30 PM ‒ 9:00 PM Student Profile • Grade levels: Grades 3‒6 • Class focus: Guided English novel reading and discussion Key Responsibilities • Lead students through one or more English novels during the reading camp. • Facilitate engaging discussions to support comprehension, vocabulary development, and critical thinking. • Encourage active participation and create a positive learning environment. • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. • Maintain professional communication and classroom management throughout the program. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or higher. • TEFL/TESOL certification (minimum 120 hours) or another recognized teaching certification. • At least one year of online ESL teaching experience with young learners. • A valid passport. • Clean criminal background. • Strong English communication and classroom management skills. • Reliable internet connection and suitable online teaching environment.
