Job Description:
• Placing a high volume of outbound calls to secure an appointment with a licensed Nurse Practitioner
• Answering incoming calls from members and case managers
• Returning voice mail messages in a timely manner
• Contacting Health Plan members to secure appointments with field providers
• Following specific talking points and protocols associated with member outreach calls
• Securing visits via scheduling software efficiently
• Demonstrating excellent customer service skills
• Utilizing exceptional communication and social skills to explain the importance of annual assessments
• Conducting follow-up calls to ensure visit success
• Confirming and verifying demographic and contact information adhering to HIPAA guidelines
• Verifying member’s insurance active status and accurately entering insurance information at patient registration
Requirements:
• High School graduate or equivalent
• Strong computer skills with proficiencies in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Access and various internet-based applications
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Demonstrable success in quickly building telephonic relationships with prospective customers
• 1+ year of call center experience, or relevant tele-sales experience (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)
• Experience with integrated voice/IT systems (preferred)
