As a part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact and contribute to our mission of safeguarding lives and property. **Job Responsibilities** As a Part Time Customer Service Specialist I, you will be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service by dispatching emergency calls, answering questions, and resolving issues promptly and professionally * Creating and dispatching orders, and ensuring timely resolution of customer requests * Analyzing data to determine answers to customer questions and providing accurate information * Routing customer calls to other team members for additional support and follow-up * De-escalating situations by offering patience and support, and ensuring customer satisfaction * Assisting with special projects, including reports and data analysis * Providing information to customers about customer location, services, and products * Tracking and following up on customer support requests and ensuring timely resolution **Requirements** To succeed in this role, you will need: * Call Center or Customer Service experience (preferably in the life safety field) * Excellent phone skills, including familiarity with multi-line phone systems * Strong listening skills, empathetic voice, and manner * Minimum typing ability of 30 words per minute * Ability to learn and utilize new and existing computer software in a proficient and timely manner * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and work independently * Entry-level knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, or other specialty systems * Desire and interest in learning about the life safety field (prior experience a plus) * Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and dependability * Trustworthiness and integrity that aligns with arenaflex's company values **Physical Requirements** This role is remote with onsite training at our office in Elgin, IL.
